Wait On Him

Psalms 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Most times, we feel like being left out in a busy world. In the midst of friends getting admission into schools, passing their courses, getting jobs, getting married, having children, among others, it's possible to feel abandoned by God if we lack what we desire. The world system has been manipulated to look like those not achieving much at the moment are lazy, unlucky or cursed. But the word of God says " So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy"(Romans 9:16). My beloved, the single most important thing to do is to wait on the God of mercy.

Waiting here, means trusting God for His success in our lives while doing the necessary things. Whatever He has given us to do in terms of work, ministry, going to school, etc, let us do it diligently without discouragement, envy towards others or anxiety to get more. Be courageous that He that brought you this far is able to take you higher, exceeding abundantly above your imaginations.

Today, the Lord says "wait on me". Those who refuse to wait usually fall into worldly entanglements. Prayerfully wait on Him today.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for bringing us this far. We wait on you oh Lord, please let our change come, in Jesus name. Amen.
