Cast Away Unbelief

Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

In the midst of technological innovations, economic strategies, career pursuit, religious enlightenment among other end time activities, it's possible to live in unbelief. It's possible to think that we have it all and thus no need to believe in God. Today, the Lord says 'take heed', be careful in guiding your heart against doubting the place of God in your life. Be careful not to be carried away by life, thus forgetting the giver of life. Be careful that your busy job, business, career or religion will not make you depart from God.

Unbelief is considered evil before God. It's evil to go to church but still doubt or disbelief the Lord of glory. It's evil to preach the word but doubt the power of the same word when afflictions arise. It's evil to be seen as righteous but in your heart you have departed from the truth. This is why we are to take heed. It's not too late to go back to God and renew your heart to conform with the mindset of the family of God. It's time to recount God's intervention in your life in the past and build your faith in the assurance of recurrent victories. Take a stand of faith today. Take heed!

Heavenly Father, thank you for your presence in us. Please deliver us from unbelief and grant us strength to continue the race till the end,in Jesus name. Amen.
