Learning how to grow spiritually is a lifelong journey. For spiritual growth to occur, we must be taught, corrected, and instructed by the Word of God. Then, we will be fully equipped for every good work. This is the essence of spiritual growth. In other words, spiritual growth is based on real salvation. We can not talk about spiritual growth if we do not have spiritual life if we have not been born again and we have received God's forgiveness. Our spiritual growth is not primarily about our parents, friends or family being believers. It is first an individual matter, for those who have been adopted by God. In seeking spiritual growth, we can pray to God, asking for wisdom in the areas He wants us to grow spiritually. We can ask you to help us increase our faith and knowledge of Him. God desires our spiritual growth. God has given us everything we need to experience this spiritual growth. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we will be able to overcome sin more and more, advancing firmly to become more and more like our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
