Oops Got That Wrong. Sometimes Things Just don't work Out

Sometimes things don't work out. A few years ago in Gibraltar, I was working on a small bunkering tanker when this ship came to dock next to us. The angle of attack was a little acute resulting in the ship hitting the concrete with its bow. The ship's rear end continued to move until it completely blocked the channel with its rudder aground. Oops!

Several hours later after a tug straightened it up and divers had inspected for damage. The ship left. I have no idea why it came in as nothing was taken off or put on board. Maybe the ship's crew were embarrassed. no one was hurt, and that is all that matters really.
