On the surface everything is about Norton he tells us his life as a man who besides suffering insomnia leads a boring life and sunk in monotony working as a clerk, joins several help groups to overcome insomnia something that does not help him nothing, there he meets Marla (Helena Bonham Carter) a girl who after knowing her begins to despise completely and find himself on more than one occasion.
During a flight he meets Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) an anarchist soap maker and fighter, after having a fight they discover their mutual interest in them to let off steam the fight club.
The director of the film adds subliminal pictures throughout the film in a fast and blurry way, however once we learned the truth about his new friend it is time to go back to see the film and try to find all the clues left to us ...
