Tree Tuesday: Big trees for shade on a hot day, ต้นไม้ใหญ่ให้ร่มเงา

This is my entry for #treetuesday by @old-guy-photos. This is my first entry for tree Tuesday, but I am delayed by many obligations during the last two days. If I don’t do it now, I will forget it forever. I like plants and trees, some old trees command lots of respect and admiration from me.

These big trees must have been planted when the first building was constructed over sixty years ago. On a hot day, the shade of these old trees cool the area underneath making it possible for us to enjoy our steamy day. During rainy storm in the past, smaller branches were broken off and strewn on the surface of the road. People who park their cars under these big trees have to know the risk involved during a storm!

วันนี้อากาศร้อนจัดมาก ทำให้ต้องระวังตัวไม่ให้เป็นหวัดแดด เราเห็นต้นไม้ต้นใหญ่มากแผ่กิ่งก้านสาขา เป็นร่มกันแดดอย่างดีเยี่ยม จึงอยากจะลงรูปไว้เป็นที่ระลึกว่าต้นไม้ที่เขาปลูกตั้งแต่สมัยก่อน มากกว่าหกสิบปีแล้ว ปัจจุบันมันได้ทำประโยชน์มากมาย ให้ผู้คนได้อาศัยนั่งใต้ต้นไม้หลบแดด. คนบางคนก็จอดรถยนต์ใต้ต้นไม้ กระรอกและนกพากันมาทำรังบนต้นไม้หลายครอบครัว แต่ในหน้ามรสุมที่มีพายุฝน และลมแรง กิ่งไม้ก็หักและตกลงมาเต็มท้องถนน ราวกับว่ามีคนปีนขึ้นไปตัดไม้มาทำฟืน ใครที่จอดรถยนต์ใต้ต้นไม้ใหญ่ตอนมีพายุ ต้องเข้าใจถึงความเสี่ยงและอันตรายที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้น กับชีวิตและทรัพย์สินได้.
