Updates & What's Next
Hey everyone!
It's been a minute since my last post. I have been working on quite a few things as of late. I'm pretty excited about where all of this is headed and I figured I would just do a short little update to show you where I'm at right now and give you a sneak peak into what's coming in the future.
If you aren't aware, the dynamic duo Aggroed and Yabapmatt have launched something recently called Steem-Engine. It's been "live" for the last few weeks, but I just saw that Aggroed announced it officially on his blog for a soft-opening just over an hour ago.

The Steem Engine aspect of this post should give you a few hints as to what I'm up to, here's another little hint to go along with it ;)
I'll have a more proper announcement in a few weeks when this is all ready to go.
A few other things that I have been working on:
- Updating the Steemit.com Guide / https://khaleelkazi.com/steemit-a-complete-guide/that I made on my website
- Creating the Steemhunt.com Guide for my website (still in the works, should be ready very soon!)
- Building an introduction to Steem page. I have this nearly ready, but I also started creating a page that I will call "Steem Dashboard" which will make navigation better. So I'm waiting to complete both of these before launching the pages officially.
- Building out some of the secret layers behind the image above ;)
I'll do my best to update more regularly from here on out, stay tuned! For now, any guesses as to what I have planned with the above image? Would love to hear your perspective on it!

Engage, earn redeem? Are you starting a redeemable khaleelkazi token where people earn by engaging on ur posts and then they can redeem for something? Either an upvote or merchandise... My bet would be on nudes haha Just kidding
Hey @teutonium!! Way too long my man! A referral website sounds very interesting! Now is the best time to start a website and connect it to your Steem blogging efforts.
I’ve started websites in the past but they never took off much traffic-wise. Some got a few hundred visits here and there. But this time, having Steem posts that link directly to the site is a game changer for google ranking and general traffic.
You’re right on the money! The token is my little idea for a personal brand loyalty token. Basically it’s a rewards system for anyone in my audience to engage with my content, share it, etc. and earn tokens and then redeem those tokens for various rewards. Upvotes may be on the list of those rewards. I’m also looking into various other things like delegations, free Steem accounts, even physical rewards shipped to your house! The possibilities have no limit!
I’m also considering some sort of way to help Steemians create a website for their blog. Any interest in something like that? I’d love to bounce a few ideas back and forth with you on it.

What physical rewards do you have in mind? Because, remember, not everyone is from the US so shipping cost might get expensive...
Actually, yes, that would be pretty cool, it's one of those things that I've also been thinking about, the problem is that I would have to start from 0 and learn everything, maybe if u get some "tutoring" lessons in the mix of the rewards, people would flock to ur content trying to engage more in order to get those lessons...
Have you ever done a Shopify store? That's also another one of the things I would love to learn! Especially if the store runs full on crypto payments!
Yeah the physical rewards would be through websites that handled shipping. There are some logistics behind all that and I’ll probably wait to do something until I found a good online store that shipped worldwide for good rates.
Yeah I’ve been thinking of an idea where I could prepackage a template that any Steemian could take and upload to WordPress and create a site of their own. 80% of the work would be pre-loaded by having the template and then they would have to add their own personal settings, information and customizations.
I’ve been considering a business model where Steemians could pay a small monthly fee in STEEM to access a few blogging templates and then also access a documentation section that would teach them everything they need, step by step, to get their own blog up and running. From there, the docs could also give details about customizing the blog and making it their own while also allowing for integrations such as Shopify if they wanted to do an online store too.
Other ideas that would fall in there is making it automatically loaded with SteemPress which would allow for comments and upvoting on the websites and cross-posting. The possibilities and customizations are totally endless which is why an ongoing library of docs that are simple could produce some incredible Steem powered blogs.
I have done a Shopify store in the past. They’re pretty fun! I’ve never tried integrating crypto payments, although I’m sure there are some companies out there providing a simple solution for that already and you could integrate it.
I’m no web developer by any means. I just kind of learn this stuff as I go and solve the problems as they arise. Making it easy for a Steemian to click some buttons and have their own blog is a little dream of mine. Could be my killer business idea for the blockchain! We’ll see if I can make something like that a reality!
