PROFANE LANGUAGES DON'T MAKE US COOL

Early in the morning, the neighbor's noises wake me up using profane languages. The noises are children's voices. The next house is also the same. When I bought something in their store, I was a pity for a child whose my little sister's friend that is 8 years old cursed by her grandma when she was mistaken to get the stuff. This child's mother is a drunkard woman who did not send her children to school. This summer, our church took her to attend the bible summer class. The church people noticed her sad eyes among the other students. Maybe she is affected by her family's nature.


Successfully, she graduated the summer class with many awards. When she arrived at their home, her mother was surprised by the recognition she got.

Our home is the first school of our children. Their wicked languages and characters depend on their environment. We should not teach them to speak wrong words because it reflects their personalities and the people in their homes.

Some of us like often to speak bad words to sound cool, but no, it doesn't. Mostly young people use profane languages because of their erroneous beliefs that they'll sound cool. Not just a big turn off in human's eyes, God is against to it. Why am I insisting this? The Ephesians 4:28, says:

"Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear."

God will also forsake us for it is revealed in 1 Peter 3:10:

"The one who desires life, to love and see good days, must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit."
