Famous bridge in Paris with millions of “love locks”

Pont de l’Archevêché pictured here is one of the two famous bridges in Paris on the River Seine where millions of couples placed locks as a symbol of their love and commitment to each other.

City removed these locks 🔒 shortly after I took the pictures because they posed a safety hazard from the weight of all the locks.

Some sections of the locks were sold to the public, with all proceeds going to organizations working in support of refugees located in the city of Paris.
