Do not please others when it is detrimental to you0

Doing things at your own detriment just to please others is not too good. Except you want to be another Jesus of course. Lol!

Loving yourself and considering yourself in all you do is not being selfish. It is self-love which is very important to your existence.

Selfishness is when you look out only for your good without considering the effect your actions and decisions would have on other people. However, self-love means you count too. Your choices and well-being matter too.

You have to be your number one lover, caregiver and protector. Whatever good you wish to do to others, consider doing it for yourself as well. Do not hurt yourself or place yourself in harm's way just because you want to please another person. Until you learn to love, respect and care for yourself, other people will not count you worthy of these things.

Love humanity, be good to all. But never do any of these things to your own detriment.
