Living your own life is actually one of the sweetest but most difficult things to do. A lot of people are only living in other people's shadows. They measure and checkmate their lives with other people's opinion. Their life's activities must be measured by dogmas and standards created by another person's thinking. And yes, doing this makes life a lot easier because society tends to favour or accept you more, only when you follow what they regard as generally acceptable.

Your time is limited, so do not waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. Steve Jobs

Have you ever wondered why people think a post should have at least a certain number of words before it can be considered as a high-quality post? Yet we all know that most life-changing write-ups are quotes with just a few words.

Have you ever asked who set the standards to measure beauty in both males and females? Yet people are going for surgeries worth millions of dollars just to meet up with another person's thinking of what a beautiful person should look like.

Free yourself from all these bondages created from another person's imagination. You cannot live all your life trying to live up to the expectations of others.

Do what works for you and what makes you comfortable in your own skin. The truth is, the world may mock you when you try to break free from what they have all adopted as a measure of standards, but if you steadfastly hold on to what you believe, soon it will become another measure of standard for them.

Your time here in this world is limited so do not waste your precious time living according to what suits another person's ego.

Use your own time and do not sacrifice it to other people by trying to live according to what they want or expect from you.
