Who they say we are.

There are times when we feel stereotyped by the world and people we love.

Someone sees you, and names you, not with bad names, your really names, the ones you truly bear.

For instance, you're negroid, so they call you black, you're Caucasian, so they call you white, you're that, so they call you this.

Nothing is absolutely wrong with this. Not a bit. What hurts is when they have a certain structural analysis of who you are supposed to be based on what they generally believe of people that bear same names with you.

You're black, so they say you do drugs.

You're white, so they say you're racist.

Nothing hurts more than when you get tagged for what you are not without giving you the benefit of doubt or a chance to brand yourself as what you really are.

It could be really unnerving, disturbing and killing.

This happens everywhere, even in Africa, among sub- tribes, clans within the same tribes that practically speak the same language with only a difference of accent.

There is a lot more to say about this but one thing remains true: stereotypic conclusions is a evil, it plants evil seeds that spurn trees of deaths. This seed can create disagreements, bitterness, social disintegration and much more. All of which are elements and seeds of greater evil.

Countless wars are probably seeded by of all this that I have mentioned.

A lot of people have most likely committed suicide as a result things like this.

Just a little indifferent stare against someone you have stereotyped could go a long way.

My Advice:

Give someone or rather everyone you see the grace of a benefit of doubt and shun stereotypic conclusions.

@ogoowinner, In my opinion you've hit the perfect point and by that i mean, we have to hold grace towards everyone and we should not judge an book by it's cover. And if we judge and we tag them without knowing them, then not only we are hurting people but inturn we are spreading an message to people who receive these kind of words may be think as everyone is like that and everyone is judging then inturn we are spreading hatred and next person holding hatred.

So, at first place we have to behave with everyone as we wanted to be treated by everyone and in that way we can create an beautiful world where everyone can stay without judgements and inturn this will push towards Expanded face of Brotherhood and Humanity.

Wishing you an great day and stay blessed. 🙂

I completely agree with you. most times, we just jump into conclusion by judging others when we know absolutely nothing about them, thanks for sharing @ogoowinner
