Salakayan Tribe Contest and Parade Today
Today was a busy and noisy day. This morning there was a tribes contest. It was very noisy because 2nd judging area is in front of my house. It happens only once a year so it is bearable. I got the best seat because I can watch for free and in comfort. No problem if I have to go to the bathroom or eat and drink. Everything within reach.

Here are a few pictures of the tribes and parade.
There were 7 contesting tribe so they finished almost 12 noon. There were 2 people who fainted from the heat. Then around 3pm the parade started.
The floats of 2 of the Princesses and the Queen is the last float.
Tonight they will be announcing the winners of the tribe contest and the coronation of the queen will be tomorrow. The end of a week long activity. Every night there were reunions and other affairs. There is also a food fest and an aggro-industrial fair. I was not able to go but will try later, they will remain a few days after the festival.
It was a tiring but successful week.
