2FA, Google Authenticator - Is It Worth Using. How To Setup And Be Safe
Google Authenticator is a great app to secure your accounts, so nobody can stole it.

Today we will talk about Google Authenticator or 2FA as i said in one of my previous post. Most of crypto exchanges provide this feature as it is very secure. After setup google authenticator, whenever you need to log in you have to enter another password like OTP after email and password. The otp you receive will be in the app "Google Authenticator". Without this you will not able to login your account. The code or OTP changes in every 30 seconds to improve its security because of this you have to quickly enter the code before times out.
All we can say is, Google Authenticator is a great quality app for adding extra security to your account. After this if anyone even know your email and password, he/she will not able to login without google authenticator app.
Is It Worth Using Google Authenticator ?
Yes of course, It is worth using this app and i am using it from last many months.
How To Securely Setup Google Authenticator.
Google Authenticator setup is so easy but if you do any mistake doing this then you may lost your account as like me. I am struggling to get my Binance account from almost 1 month. So better follow every step carefully.
The setup is same for every exchange or any other site where you can use google authentiocator.
First you have to download google authenticator app in your mobile.
Open the app and click on the + icon on the right bottom
After that you have to login to your exchange account and go to security and found google authenticator setup option.
They will ask you to scan QR code or give you an key to enter in the app.
Using Qr code is so easy and recommended.
For security what you have to do is store or make a backup of the key. So in future if you need to change you mobile, reset or recover it and also when you have lost your app or mobile like me, then next time you can setup it again with that key.
So don't forget to store or print on paper so you can easily access it in near future when required.
