An Excellent Modern British Pub in Cookham - "The White Oak"
Whilst we were adventuring in the pretty village of “Cookham”, along the way we stopped to rest and have a few drinks at a trendy bar called “The White Oak” near the town centre.
Unlike a more traditional village pub with oak beams and horse brass, "The White Oak" provides quite a modern look and welcoming feel throughout. A "solid statement" like bar, with creative lighting and some soft earthy toned upholstery, definitely got a WOW factor for me. In a word, I was impressed.
The staff are also warm and hospitable so therefore overall ended up having a very enjoyable time at the bar area. If we would had stayed there a little longer, we would definitely have tried out their food menu too as the dining section did look stunning!
"The White Oak" is an excellent pub and one I heartily recommend for you all to try. Enjoy!
