The Beautifully Decorated "The Churchill Arms"
“The Churchill Arms” is a beautiful and unique pub I came across last week. Situated in the affluent Notting Hill Gate, the pub is stunning from the outside with thousands of fresh flowers decorated all over! According to the bartender, they spent a staggering £25,000 a year to create it, that’s a lot of flowers, lol! There are a lot of hanging flower baskets, pots and window boxes covering the entire building, spreading all those lush colours all the way up to the chimney pots! Can you imagine what their water bill would be like to maintain all these?
Beside the stunning exterior of the pub, it is also quaint inside with a great selection of drinks including a hidden Thai restaurant! Due to the limited time, we only had a quick drink but perhaps we will come back for their Thai food another time.
"The Churchill Arms" is such a unique pub with an eye catching “wow” exterior. If you are ever near the Notting Hill Gate area, definitely check it out!
What a lovely place! I adore English and - even more - Irish pubs. They are always so beatifully decorated with plants and flowers.
