The Soothing Waters in the Village of "Cookham"
"Cookham" is one of the places that run along the river Thames, although we were at least an hour away from London. This village has become a popular Thamesside resorts for visitors from all over the world.
We were sitting on the banks of the Thames by a lush willow tree, really trying to take in the breathtaking scenic pictures of nature. There are quite a few barges and boats dotted along the bank of the river too. But comparing it to the Thames river in London, here it seemed much more quiet and calm. A lone white swan was floating above the waters surface, as well as two ducks swimming across side by side.
I always love to be around tranquil river waters as I find it soothes me the second I am near it. Even just simply observing the movement of water brings peace to my mind. Perhaps one day I am able to afford a dream house here near the lake. I would be the happiest person on earth, lol!
Looks like a place of deep history. A typical gloomy English day? Lol
Places like that, I always ponder where and when and how it all might have began some time ago. How it got to this point and setting, and where the future might take it, for better or worse.
