POEM: FROM BEYOND

A love from beyond
greater than you know

Gives flight to your feet
and air to your toes

Gales strap to your back
in flight you turn

Back to earth and present
a new smile you've learned

Gravity is now an anomaly
Your billowed heart catches wind

You are not wired to connect
to be drained and alone

You are prescribed no less than you need (and no more
than would fill your soul)
