Recently I read an article (found here) where the author found this music video of Africa by Toto.
I think most of us should have heard of this really classic song.
But what's different in this version is that it's edited to sound like you're listening to it in an empty shopping mall.
The song is the same, but it feels more echoey, less clear. And that is actually quite comforting for some. There is that sense of nostalgia, bringing you back to a time where you don't have so many devices, just heading out to shop somewhere in a neighbourhood mall.
There's many other songs made by the Youtube artist that are similar, and other artists have also tried their own versions, for example, listening to XX by YY from a bathroom in a party.

Reminds me of working a retail job in high school. Being there before store opens, listening to the Muzak play and echo off the tile floors in the empty store. I may be old but this song was out even before I was in high school lol
