The final counting started. The first two minutes is the countdown. But in the last minute, the second spell stopped. It started in the start of the rocket launch (startup mode). It was told that the Bangabandhu-1 satellite is not flying for yesterday. But countdown will start again this Friday. Today the new time of launching satellites has been fixed at 2:14 pm on the last day of Bangladesh.

Normally, an extra day is always kept in the satellite space. Because, if there is any problem on the first day so that the second day can be used. Earlier, SPACEK had informed, on the second day (backup day) Friday.

SpaceX said in a tweet message that the launch was postponed due to some technical problems in the last minute. Rockets and satellites are in good condition. Starting today, the preparations for the launch will start again.

Yesterday, at 3:40 am, Thursday morning, the trip to Bangabandhu's own orbit from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida was scheduled to start. Now the satellite will be launched a day back.

Bangladesh will be joining the elite club of country's satellites as the 57th country by launching Bangabandhu-1 satellite. Hundreds of Bangladeshi people were present at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida yesterday to be a witness to this historic moment. Some of them are residents of the United States, and others have gone to the United States from Bangladesh. A delegation of government including Prime Minister's Information Technology Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy was present.

There was a direct system of watching satellite launches for visitors from two places in the Kennedy Space Center. A space Apollo or Saturn-5 center, distance from the launch site, which is 6.77 km. Apart from this, the Main Visitor Complex of the Kennedy Space Center was also a satellite viewing system. Its distance from the launch site is 12 kilometers.

Yesterday, the media workers of Bangladesh were being taken to the launch pad, satellite and rocket inspection at the local time. PM's Information Technology Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy, State Minister Tarana Halim, State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed and Bangladesh Government delegation came to see the launch pad at the same time.

The moment of Bangabandhu-1 launching of the satellite, all the private television channels of the country including Bangladesh Television are going to be broadcast live. The Cabinet Division has directed all the district and upazila administration to take the rare publicity arrangements. Bangabandhu Satellite Launching Institution SpiceX will broadcast live launch moment.

The country's first satellite launch has also seen great enthusiasm among the people of the country. Students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and BRAC University of Dhaka in front of the big screen of television were watching the satellite launch scene. Such scenes have been found in different places of the country including Chittagong, Barisal.

The SpaceX spacecraft will go to space, which is Falcon 9 Block 5. The launch process will be completed in two stages. The first stage will take 10 days to complete and the second phase will take 20 days.

It will be possible to extend Internet and telecommunications services through this satellite in remote areas of the country. A new dimension will be added to deal with the disaster situation. This satellite can also be used to ensure satellite-based television service (DHT) and national security.

The location of the Bangabandhu-1 satellite in space will be 119.1 degree East longitude. Apart from this orbit, all parts of SAARC countries, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan will be covered under this satellite.

The country's first satellite cost is estimated to cost 2, 967 crores. Of this, Tk 1,315 crore has been taken as a loan from the Bangladesh government and the remaining Tk 1,652 crore. The loan has been given by the multinational bank HSBC. However, the cost of implementing the project was Tk 2,765 crore.

The main infrastructure of the Bangabandhu-1 satellite has been created by France's Space Agency Thales Alenna Space. After the construction of the satellite, it was sent to Florida in the United States to launch it on March 30. There is another space research company SpaceX rocket, the satellite can go into space today. Though the satellite is ready to work and fly abroad, it will be controlled from Bangladesh. For this, Ground Control Station (Ground Control System) created in Joydebpur of Gazipur will serve as the main center for satellite control. Rangamati Betbunia Ground Station will be used as an alternative.
