Steem Racing Ahead: So Much Going On It Is Amazing
I usually focus upon a single project or announcement that took place but this morning I find myself a bit overwhelmed with all that is going on. Today seems like a big day on the Steem blockchain with lots of announcements pertaining to a number of projects.
HUNT Listed
As mentioned yesterday, the HUNT token was going love on the Daybit exchange. This took place and can be traded. Thus far, there was over $90K traded.
@steemhunt is the first team to get a Steem based token publicly listed. They were also able to get STEEM on there as well. From what I understand, there are a few more applications that are intending on following suit.
Steem Proposal System
@blocktrades is going through the final testing of the Steem Proposal System. This was ready to go a few days ago but they wanted to go through the final testing.
This is going to be integrated via a hard fork to be accepted by the Witnesses.

NextColony: True Blockchain Game
NextColony is having their 3rd auction as they announced the completion of their Fleet module. They are returning 30% of the proceeds to the players which rewards them for supporting the game.
This is a true blockchain game which is exciting.

@super8ballclub Upgrade
Pool players are not left out. Super8BallClub did a major upgrade to their game. This contains an assortment of features that were not present before.
This is a multi-player game on Android that is built on Steem. It used the STEEM as the token for payouts. People can earn STEEM simply for playing (no need to wager).
There is a lot of information in their post which makes for some interesting reading. The Fortune Wheel caught my attention, I will have to look further into that.
Steemmonsters And Tron
@steemmonsters is expanding their reach. Today, they are going to allow people from the Tron blockhcain to play. From what I understand, this will require each of them to sign up for a Steem account and to have some SP (Resource Credits) to play.
Here again, we see a project starting to reach outside the ecosystem in an effort to draw more in. Tron is one of the more highly valued blockchains in market cap and garnered a lot of attention. Having a game on Steem that could appeal to those individuals certainly could provide a list to this ecosystem.
The hardest thing to do with Steem is to remain patient. We are in an industry that is only getting the foundation in place. I feel the parallel to the Internet is accurate in that it was an unknown, techy, and difficult thing to use in the early days. We see the same thing here today. However, that all changed with the introduction of search and the web browser.
Over the next couple years, we will see a lot built that will provide the foundation for what is to come. Developers will create on top of what is being built today. A lot of this is tedious and makes for a draw out process. Nevertheless, these building blocks are necessary.
Steem is in fine position in my opinion. It is a rather easy blockchain for developers in terms of the coding ability. That should draw a lot of people in over the next few years as individuals want to partake in blockchain.
Each new "experiment" is a breakthrough. Developers are able to observe what worked and what did not. The is how we see the evolutionary nature of things unfold. The +1 concept applies: what was there, add to it and make it better.
We are all part of this. The goal is the same for everyone: to make Steem the best it can be. This is why a lot of the infighting does not make sense. Leave that to Bitcoin; they seemed to master forking out of spite.
Each week, we are seeing progress on so many different fronts. This is what takes place, slow and steady, until, suddenly, the network effect kicks in.
Then things get really crazy.

I do not have all the time in the world to play and earn rewards, but hopefully when robots can automate most of our daily jobs we can spend more time just playing. The future for steem and crypto looks very bright indeed. Playing games to earn a living is the future!

Then, the very next week, you get a sense that Steem is gonna take over the world! Dapps coming out left & right, people curating awesome shit, everything is going smoothly.
In my theory, I think this is a healthy balance. Maybe a bit extreme & semi-exhausting to ride from week to week, but healthy nonetheless.
I've been on platforms where everything is negative 100% of the time. They fail & die because they rot from the inside out.

Only a matter of time when all of these projects converge to bring demand to Steem once again. When many realize that less than 30% of supply is liquid and available, prices could become attractive.
