Yesterday we shared our fossil plates, but that was only a tiny taste of the epic sustainable goods we have available for trade! Check out these totally different, super unique items:
We offer OM scarves in a variety of colors by donation through our website! We sourced these lightweight cotton scarves on our travels through India from the family that prints them. They are available in white, blue, red, or yellow with slight variations in the beautiful patterns of Sanskrit characters including the word OM, said to be the sound that represents creation, maintenance, and destruction of existence.
Scarves are awesome accessories, especially as the weather starts to turn colder! There are many ways to wear and use them, of course the most traditional being around the neck. Even then, there are tons of clever ways to tie and wrap them! These are thin, but provide plenty of warmth as a light cover up.
Our you can wear one as a wide belt, shawl, head wrap, or even as a uniquely tied shirt!
Scarves are especially wonderful when traveling! On an extended trip, you might be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions, and scarves are perfect for protecting yourself from the elements - plus you get a little extra style, color, and pattern to your outfit. They weigh very little and take up almost no space in your bag, AND you can use them in a pinch as a tie/bind, sling, or even pillowcase!
