The Butterfly Colouring Contest #17 || My Christmas Flowers
Happy Day to all lovely steemians,
Now is December and Christmas is near the corner. You would able to see Christmas decorations everywhere you go. Christmas shopping have started. A lot of shopping mall started to have Christmas promotions attract shoppers to start their early Christmas shopping. With the Christmas mood, I decided to give this beautiful stencil a colourful colour.
As usual and also my favourite, I have colour this beautiful butterfly and flower with colour pencil. Since I in Christmas mood, I have colour the flowers with blue and purple as the flower center. Then the pedals I have colour and shaded it with pink, red and yellow. And have outlined the pedal with shade of blue. While the butterfly, I have shade it with blue, pink and green color. All of these were happy colours
I have chosen a soft background to complement the flowers. I love how these 2 complement each other.
Flowers and butterfly always represent colourful, beautiful, and joyful. They are the most beautiful creation of nature. The sight of flowers surrounded by butterflies is joyful forever. I always enjoy looking at flowers especially during the flowers blossom session.

@oliviackl that is a very beautiful picture. You chose your colors very well. That must take quite some time to complete. Your picture has reminded me of a dear friend that I lost recently, she loved to do these pictures as well. She did one for me once and I will cherish it and think of her every time I look at it.
