So it seems like at this point people are being paid for doing virtually anything and I'm not complaining at all. I think it has been long overdue. Many social platforms have earn billions of dollars using our time and content, so it's always a welcome development when I see platforms that are willing to share their revenue/income with their end-users.
So I stumbled upon a post not too long. The team behind partiko have lunched a new project called BuzzBreak. Its a news platform and you earn for reading news, basic, no brainer.

According to their post, USD which they earn from their ad revenue will be paid to the readers via PayPal. But for the contest, you can earn steem.
Crypto payment options will be brought on later. That's all I know for now.

Very similar interface and seems like a great way to get something out of your attention. I think the digital economy will continue to head in this direction as users see the value of their attention. If they integrate Crypto, it could improve adoption as well!
