B&W Photo Contest by @daveks: Reflections

Last week, @jasonrussell and I went exploring around southern Missouri to check out some nature-y goodness and I got a few reflective shots around the water. I saw @daveks's new theme for his B&W contest and thought I would share this one :)

We stopped at several beautiful spots during the day! This photo was taken at Falling Springs, which includes one of the many historic mills around our area. Our state conservation department does a great job of preserving these locations and keeping our history alive! We live around three scenic rivers, which are protected by the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and there are numerous mills that are still standing! Our girls loved exploring and running around!

Here's another picture that doesn't apply to the B&W contest, but I just wanted to provide a little perspective. This is our oldest daughter running toward the 'falling' spring behind the structure that powered the mill back in the day
