Reflections On The Byteball airdrop: Response To @ThemarkymarksteemCreated with Sketch.

After recently reading the post entitled

How Byteball Airdrop Is Screwing over The Steem Community,
I agree wholeheartedly with most of the raised points. Yes, referral sniping could definitely have been an issue; though I must admit that prior to following @themarkymark, I'd never have known it to be a problem at all. Never happened to me, then again, I joined the byteball community for more than just the use provided in the Steem community. Yes, through exchanges such as Cryptopia, Byteball can be exchanged for Bitcoin which can then be exchanged for Steem, and then folks can use that in turn to power up their accounts. The good ones, that is.

as the situation stands, having 407 accounts created by a single person in order to take advantage of an airdrop using the worst form of spam tactics possible, then, I definitely think that something should have been thought up to prevent those things from occurring in the first place, but that would have been on the byteball dev's heads, not ours. because they chose not consider those sorts of factors, then, we have this to deal with. But on our side of the coin, I still don't understand why people would feel the need to create account after account to take advantage of an airdrop. There are lots of good ways to take advantage of it, for instance. I've been a member of World Community Grid for a very long time, now, and the moment I found the Byteball bot for WCG attestation, I discovered how much cryptocurrency I could earn doing something good. But unfortunately, as proven time and time again up here, not everyone is on the straight and narrow. I hate to brag, but I'm one of the better ones up here; will be discussing something about that later, but though this post was sent out over a month ago, now, I still wanted to bring up my thoughts on it. For those who haven't taken advantage of this yet, use your judgement, and judge your actions properly. Be good, and don't screw us over.

Thanks. What you were reading, those were my thoughts on something that was previously written. I can't take credit for it. Though, the member of our community who wrote it has some rather interesting things. Hence why I followed them. Anyway, thanks for the vote. I followed you as well, after I read your post from earlier today. And again, thanks for the reminder.
