The Griffith Observatory: The L.A. Icon
The Griffith Observatory is one of L.A.’s greatest cultural attractions, offering spectacular views from the Pacific Ocean to Downtown L.A with an excellent view of the Hollywood Sign. Known as Southern California’s gateway to the cosmos, visitors can look through telescopes, explore exhibits, see live shows in the planetarium or astronomy museum.
Griffith Park is the tenth-largest municipally owned park in the United States and one of the largest urban parks in North America, spanning over 4,300 acres of land. You’ll also find horseback riding, playgrounds, the Los Angeles Zoo, Botanical Gardens and plenty of scenic nature to provide the perfect antidote to the city.
Griffith Park is a Los Angeles treasure located approximately 1.5 hours by car from Huntington Beach. The park is open each day from sunrise until 10 p.m.
The Griffith Observatory has appeared in numerous TV shows and films, like La La Land, The Terminator and Transformers...
This place is one of the top things to do in L.A with entrance free.

Always refreshing to visit Griffith Observatory! One of my favorite places to take visitors.
Absolutely love that place! The views are priceless and spectacular, amateur and expert hiking trails.. Griffith Park has really something for everyone ;)
