Series of medium format cameras produced from 1946 to 1960 by the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant (KMZ).

The prototype of the Moscow apparatuses was the German Super Ikonta camera from Zeiss Ikon AG. Technical documentation, equipment and the first installments of parts of this company were received by the USSR due to reparations after World War II. The first batch of cameras "Moscow" were completed units of German production (in particular, lenses and shutters).
All cameras "Moscow" had a fixed lens and a central shutter.
Cameras "Moscow" were used in cases where it was required to obtain a large-size negative - landscape, architectural photography, photographing large groups of people. Widely used by street photographers in the Soviet resorts.
