Beberapa hari lagi kepemimpinan wali nanggroe (WN) Aceh akan berakhir dan akan dilangsungkan pemilihan wali nanggroe yang baru..

Saat ini wali nanggroe Aceh dijabat oleh Malik Mahmud,seorang mantan menteri luar negeri Gerakan Aceh Merdeka(GAM)..dia menjadi wali nanggroe Aceh sejak Hasan Tiro meninggal dunia pada tahun 2013 silam..

Rakyat Aceh sangat berharap wali nanggroe kedepan adalah sosok yang mengerti tentang budaya rakyat Aceh secara menyeluruh dan tokoh yang taat terhadap agama islam serta memahaminya dengan baik sehingga bisa mempersatukan rakyat Aceh dan bisa membawa kemajuan bagi kita semua.
