Junk Yard Grow (OUTDOOR GROW #9)
Hi steemians! My what a busy week it has been! Thank goodness I only have just a few outdoor plants to manage. The indoor grow is a priority so it’s become 2nd nature for me to maintain. My outdoor plants basically take care of them selves. So just a reminder and also a shout out the the guys with greenhouses, that’s some hard ass work! So next time thank your local grower/growers!!!
But I am really enjoying watching them grow! I got three strains going.
Here’s a clone of a plant from unknown bag seed that I cracked a seed of last July. I took this clone in late February. Due to its very slow growth and to make more room in my indoor grow, this is the last run of this strain. She’s starting to smell up the whole back yard since she’s flowering. Going to be interesting to see her fill in. I’ve gave this same strain away once to go outdoors and it turned purple. Can’t wait to see that too.

There is the Kandy Kush with a little bit of “caveman” strees training. Take a good look because I have another Kandy Kush that went into flower to early, then as the days got longer it reverted back to vegetative stage.
Pretty funky right! I’m just letting it do it’s thing. I just spray a neem oil base spray to keep mold at bay.
Yeah so it’s a very small but fun grow!!!

Thanks! I’m not sure if it’s flowering, maybe it’s the strain, maybe because all these plants are from clones and been growing for at least a year, or if it’s just because I don’t get a full days sun in my backyard due to buildings. Either way it’s going to be a nice harvest.
It's probably the building thing.
The buds should be fine though.
Cool nice pics of your grow man :) I had a plant put out those crazy leaves after reverting from budding to vege outside last summer. Still ended up budding fine! Cheers - Carl
Thanks! Yeah my outdoor grow is only there because I take way to much cuttings for my indoor grow. I can only give away so much, and killing then is never an option. So I throw the extras outside. I really enjoy it and glad you did too!
You grow the directly in the ground, which I guess is kind of rare on Cali, but have you ever tested your soil? It costs very little if you order it from your county! Then you'd know exactly what you're working with. Just FYI.
Yeah I’m just doing it that way now to not worry about have pots, my son loves To tip them over to look for worms. Also if someone wanted to steal them it would be only buds. I also live in a fertile valley, and near a creek. It seems like it’s doing well.
