Ohio Couple Arrested for Medical Cannabis Could Lose Their Daughter
Glenn Keeling faces 16 drug charges. His wife, Peggy Kimmel faces 15 drug charges after police showed up with a search warrant on Halloween last year.
Peggy has MS and Glenn suffers from
Crohns disease. Both ailments are life threatening. Peggy suffers from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and has been battling the progression of the disease, which leaves lesions on the brain.Their doctor gave them a medical card for cannabis. Their daughter professes that cannabis helped her mom actually walk again, and her dad can finally eat again!
Police arrested both parents with nearly 30charges including endangering the wellfare of a child, their 14year old daughter.
Cannabis had replaced dozens of pills, shots and other pharms, a biopsy actually revealed were harming her liver.
“I was scared to death because I thought if you don't have a liver you just die,” Kimmel said, recalling when she realized trouble was brewing.
Cannabis is a life saver.
People exercising medical necessity need not be labeled criminals and have to deal w the stress of being arrested charged and prosecuted. That kind of stress only compounds an already life threatening issue.
It is sad to read and see this... here it is clearly seen that the they use laws what is abusive against people.
