URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Safe Access To CBD Directly Under Fire As Senator Files Amendment To Farm Bill

It’s time to ACT NOW before CBD is removed from OTC by one man in Congress!

An Amendment was filed to the 2018 Farm Bill yesterday that would “require the Attorney General to make a determination as to whether cannabidiol should be a controlled substance” and would exclude cannabinoids, extracts, and derivatives from the definition of hemp.

This blatant move to hinder the hemp industries growth was spearheaded by U.S Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa). Unfortunately, this could devastate the current US hemp market and effect thousands of people’s lives. We can not stand for this are asking all our members to click below to urge your U.S. Senator to vote “no” on the Grassley Hemp Amendment.

This coming just days after the Mitch McConnell amendment that would remove hemp extracts and cannabinoids from the CSA seems to be a blatant attack by Grassley toward McConnell. The hemp industry does not need to be a tool for Grassley’s politics. It is time for all of us to take a stand!

This amendment may come up for a vote this morning, Wednesday June 13th, so your participation is needed immediately. Please also share this post everywhere with anyone who may be affected by this egregious attack on our industry.

"I ask you to vote "no" on Sen. Chuck Grassley's anti-hemp, anti-farmer amendment to the 2018 Farm Bill if it comes to you for consideration. The Grassley Amendment will devastate the US hemp farming market since over 50% of US hemp farming is done for the popular, non addictive and safe compound known as CBD. CBD is the compound that is predominant in hemp and has almost no THC in it. The World Heath Organization has declared CBD safe and non addictive and most akin CBD to vitamin C.
