Constellation Brands Signals the End of the Wine Era, and Birth of the Beer and Cannabis Age
Constellation Brands, the makers of Corona, Modelo, and Pacifico brands, has made waves (well, headlines anyway) in the cannabis industry by announcing a large investment in Canadian cannabis producer Canopy Growth Corporation.
They've also purchased former craft brewer Ballast Point for $1billion.
So it seems like they're all-in on cannabis and beer, but there's also chatter that Constellation may be looking to unload about a billion dollars worth of wine companies.
