More Money Flows To Michigan And Missouri Cannabis Ballot Initiative Campaigns
That headline sounds exciting, huh? Well, some of the money pouring in is from anti-legalization groups. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who is against legalization is part of some of the dumbest and most horrible people on the planet. That's putting it nicely.
According to analysis of campaign finance data done by wonderful Marijuana Moment, major contributions are rushing in at the last moment.
I need to find out what Dow Chemical Corporation makes so I can never buy any of it. They donated $100,000 to anti-legalization group called "Healthy and Productive Michigan." Fuck that group and fuck Dow Chemical Corporation. There is nothing healthy nor productive about the prohibition of cannabis.
Anyway, there's money flowing in on both sides, and really only time will tell what happens. Legalization is coming one day no matter what, so the anti groups should really just find something else to do, but they may be able to keep reefer madness alive for a few more election cycles until some of these baby boomers either start smoking weed or die off.
