Trump Makes Statement in Ending Federal Pot Ban
Sounds like the fake news is squawking about Trump reiterating his stance and current policy? I was unaware are the feds busting for weed yet under Sessions or all bark and Bite? Wasn't Trump's official weed stance totally cool with medical on state level and no stance on legal, and aren't there shops operating openly currently in "legal" taxed jurisdictions?
Anywho Trump's latest reiteration of his stance seems to come in context of Johen Boehner and Bill Weld among other leading former bureaucrats signaling the ending of the war on weed?
As noted in the 2010 research for RAND Corp in the soruce section below the estimated costs of indoor sensimilla weed (without seeds having higher THC content) might be as high as $80-200 per lb and for outdoor sensimilla as high as $8-10 per lb, but possibly below $1. It will be interesting where the prices go for "legal" super regulated super taxed weed as time advances toward infinity.
Recently a group in Ohio is trying to legalize weed and regulate it like Alcohol. It will be 21+, so human adults will be old enough to fight and die in Syria or Afghanistan but still not old enough to toke up under that proposed regulation.

I didn't expect much from him on this front, he is pretty anti drugs, good on the president if congress passes and he signs this bill.
Keep a real close eye on who opposes this move and who votes against it. Those are the people beholden to who profits from prohibition.
I think it is only a matter of time until pot laws change. We will see how things turn out with Korea and Iran and Israel. World Peace could be pretty nice. In the 90s Trump may have openly advocated legalizing all drugs.

90s Trump wanted gun bans too. It will be interesting to watch, Trump is big time anti drugs 80s style because his brother died from drugs and alcohol. That's why he doesn't drink.
This is pretty awesome though:

He is right there. Of course with Trump if you look at a long enough time span you can find him taking any position and also the opposite position.
STOPThis would be a smart and correct move. Feels like he's just poking Sessions though, lol.

Awesome news. Kinda surprising considering he ran as a republican. But, I truly feel like the stigma on weed is dying.
I think it's been dead for a while. I think it was the 2014 General Social Survey that found a majority of Murcans wanted dope legal.
