Canadian Weed Review #3 "Gems"

With over 75 varieties of high quality cannabis on offer and our newly legal cannabis sector struggling to keep up with demand I'm still trying out as many kinds as I can get my hands on.

Today I'm sampling Up brand "Gems" ganja. I picked up a gram at a cost of $9. The product comes in a tear off zip package

This is a hybrid strain they claim is sativa dominant. I find the sativa's more uplifting than indicas with less of a couch lock buzz.. but I do usually prefer Indica's.

I figure this is a good one to smoke before work in a couple hours 🤔

First off the product smells like a dirty gym sock. This maybe the only time that's a good thing! The product is cured well and not too dry. The smaller ziplock package performs much like your standard underground baggie.

One gram will last me a couple days, I can get 4 decent size joints usually. Some "grams" have been 0.9's due to the drying of the herb and the bulky packaging but this weighs 1 gram right on the nose. 😎👍

Now to get to the high.

It smokes well, burns right and doesn't go out which is a testament to the quality job of producing this plant and curing it properly.

It tastes sweet, all of the government ganj I've smoked has been absolutely on par with the illegal weed I've been purchasing for close to two decades or better. The contracted suppliers are using science to create the best product available and it shows.

The high is even, there's no anxiety involved it's just a nice mellow buzz. I feel like this herb is a great day time weed as it doesn't sap my energy. Half hour after smoking I feel great, nice and upbeat.

Overall this being the first "Up" brand product I've tried I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice energy producing buzz that you can enjoy and still get shit done.
