Hey steemians! In this post, I like to share my Root Porn collection from some of my past cannabis grow operations. Check it out...
Before, I want to say that, in this post, you will understand why I love to grow cannabis using coco coir...All pics and roots are in a Coco Coir Mix (fibers and grains)
Let's begin with this Barney's Farm PineappleChunk clone, about 15 days since the cut

Now check this Sweet Tooth strain, in an 11 Liters coco coir, after harvest
Wow!
Another plant, same strain, same size, same grow, the same everything:
This is the coco coir mix that I use:
100% , nothing else added.
Let's see...the first time of a seedling touching the bottom:
Next the first transplant to a bigger pot:
200ml to 2,8 Liters
When you know the roots are thriving:
White, strong and looking for more space to grow.
Another op., Moving to definitive pots under HPS flowering lights. Skunk #1 and LSD strains...
Beautifull root mass
At this point, you may want to cut 1/8 from the bottom of the root mass before the transplant..this will cause a benefic frenetic root grow on the new pot.
Now, I don't remember which one is the LSD and which one is the Skunk #1...lol
But both had a great root system
To finish, this come from my last grow, I've made a journal here on steemit you can check on my blog. After harvest, with 2 days of no water period, so she looks a little dry; But the most interesting thing here is that all of the coco coir is colonized by mushrooms fungi...No fruits on these pics but is all there...
They've fruit early on flower period and in the late veg period:

Thanks man! Hydro is awesome too, just a little bit harder to keep on track but's great. With this coco coir that I use you can run like hydro too, with multiple feeds/waters daily. xD
Really wanted to get some CoCo, but harder to find than water in my area :P
I would love to see you post your hydro grow here and do a detailed journal. Ive never seen a hydro setup in action.
Haha I've actually thought about doing that, Just still getting used to it lol, Hydro isn't that hard, but its def not easy :P I probably will one of these days soon and If I do I'll shout out to you :) Thanks for the Idea.
