Hangin’ with WHO is a socio-politically charged talk-show I started at WOCC Viking Radio Ocean County College, in NJ, while earning a psychology degree several years ago. Having been on college and internet radio since the 90s curating underground music genres and interviewing underground Hip Hop legends, it seemed the next logical step for my career. I’ve been a social media activist and proponent for radical social reform immersed in anarcho-agorist/socialist circles for many years, which my roster of past and upcoming guests will reflect. In addition to reporting from the frontlines of the miserably failed War on “Drugs”, a segment of each podcast will be sponsored by #EHO and cover the topics of #sustainability, #zerowaste and #mentalhealth & #wellness, in that order. This evening I will be talking to the NJ Weedman for a second time. The last time he called in from the Mercer County Jail where he was held as a political prisoner for over a year under the highly unconstitutional bail reform on trumped up charges based on bogus regulations. It seemed the local cops and their cronies in the legislature found Ed to be an easy target for police harassment. A target he and his very legal business he may have been, easy he is certainly not. Ed never gave up for decades-long fight and outspoken advocacy for cannabis even from his jail cell. And he managed to prevail when his day in court finally came. However, his and our fight is far from over. Let's hear what he has to say about being on the ballot for state assembly, NJ's bail reform, NJ's impending legalization of cannabis and plans to reopen The Joint.
