Cronos Group Surges on Reports That Altria Is Exploring an Acquisition

Shares of Cronos Group were falling as much as 6% Monday, but by noon the stock was up more than 17% after multiple news outlets reported that Altria was in early talks to purchase the Canadian company as it looks to diversify its business.

Good news article for people that own shares in Cronos Group, a Canadian cannabis company. For the last year or so I've been reading about how the big tobacco and alcohol companies were going to buy into this market, and sure enough it's starting to happen. Won't be the last either....
