Girl Scout Cookie is an indica dominant hybrid with a strong but balanced high. The split is 60% indica and 40% sativa, so it is a very even. GSC also has a higher THC content then the average strain which gives it an extra punch. The parentage of Girl Scout Cookie is a cross between OG Kush and Durban Poison. This potent strain is originally from California. It is a pretty recent strain and hasn't been around for a while, so GSC is still trying to find its final form. But just because it’s a new, that doesn't affect the popularity. People are addicted to Girl Scout Cookies and the strain is here to stay.

When you look at this bud, it’s qualities are evenly distributed. The flower is a terrific trio of green, purple, and orange. Those three colors are so synonymous with marijuana. Many other strains do these individual colors better, but none have a stronger blend of all three then Girl Scout Cookie. The green, purple, and orange twist throughout the flower so naturally. The green and purple splitting the leaves with the deep orange hairs clustering in areas. The bud looks really cool, a perfect balance of all the things weed is known for.

The smell is sweet and earthy, sunky with a little mint. It is very pleasant on the nose and wakes you up a little. The nugs are a good size and feel squishy and sticky. I hit it with a glass pipe and the initial taste was brown sugar and nutmeg. Sweet with a little mint the smoke was cool through my lungs.

The high is very strong, I felt it right away. A balance of a cerebral kick with a relaxing body high. You can tell this is a hybrid that brings both qualities to the forefront. A little goes a long way and this strain can make you a little spacy and lazy. I found myself zoning out and thinking about stuff. But not in an anxious way, but a nice cool bliss. Very reflectives while uplifting and relaxing. Gives you the body high while your mind is racing. If you don't like heady satavias, this bud may not be for you. And if you don’t deep indica’s, this probably isn't for you either. Buf for those who have love for both sativa and indica, this is one of the most evenly balanced hybrids there is.

I give Girl Scout Cookie a 4.3 / 5.0. Very pretty flower and great strong high. But the balance of sativa and indica dont really work great for me personally. I would rather go full one way or the other or have a dominant hybrid. I don't care too much for the even high of both. But it is very good for pain and nausea along with anxiety, stress, and depression. The beauty alone of the flower is worth getting, but not a personal favorite of mine.
