Skywalker OG is an indica dominant hybrid with a very high THC content. It will 100% get the job done and isn't for beginners. The split is 85% indica and 15% sativa, so the indica is obviously dominant. But the hint of sativa gives a nice euphoric rush to accompany the heavy indica. Skywalker OG lineage come from crossing OG Kush with Skywalker. The high THC content gives a relaxing body high that will melt you into your couch and give you a rumble in your stomach. Can make you a little drowsy too, so it’s good for night time use. Sometimes Skywalker OG can create a dangerous combination of lazy and hungry.

The flower is a very pretty forest green. Not too many hairs, but some red ones peppered throughout. Loads of crystals that twinkle in the light and give a great accent to the green. The trichomes aka the crystals stand out the most and are very impressive. Skywalker OG is a great strain for hash and kief because of all the resin. Little spongy and smaller nugs. The touch was sticky from all the crystals. The smell had a spicy herb scent and earthy tones. Also a sharp almost gasoline or a sharpie smell with the forest pine. The taste was sweet and smooth. Earthy, bright and woody. Feels like a fresh morning forest with a bite in your mouth.

The high is quite heavy, but a very relaxing. I immediately felt it after the first hit. I was moving apartments and had been lifting furniture all day. I was done for the night and hit the Skywalker on my couch. My muscles immediately felt light and fluffy. No longer did I feel sore or tired, just relaxed and calm. I did feel very lazy. The high THC content definitely hits you hard and shouldn’t be used by those with lower tolerances. But if you have experience and want your body to melt, this is the strain for you. I did have an increase of appetite, which can be quite common with most strains. But felt a little more pronounced with Skywalker OG. The slight sativa also gives you a little head high euphoria followed by numbing relaxation.

I would recommend Skywalker OG to anyone experienced stoner with the desire to relax. Perfect for the night time or after a long day. Skywalker OG will relax your muscles and soothe your body. I give Skywalker OG a 4.7 / 5.0. I really like this strain and as a stoner it doesn’t pull punches. It’s also very calming and relaxing that can be extremely therapeutic. This strain is perfect to cure stress, pain, depression, and sleeping. And make sure you have some munchies close by!
