Cat Eye Health II
Eye infections are abundant in the cat world and can be cause by a number of things. The most common problems stem from infections, parasites, bacteria and other nasty conditions. Recognising an eye infection as early as possible is important. Cats with eye conditions will commonly exhibit constant watering, redness and soreness.
A cat will be visibly seen as in discomfort and their eyes will squint and in some cases close altogether. This is immediate cause for concern and a vet should be seen as soon as possible to investigate and provide treatment. In the meantime, to prevent infections good living condition practice should be upheld including balanced nutrition, safe and peaceful places for rest and regular hydration.
