Cat showing is a contest of the very best in their respective breeds. Understanding the rules and judgement criteria is an essential foundation for any breeder to embark on a path of recognition and victory. The essence of breeding is to realise the most exemplary traits and highlight them during showing events.
Every part of the cat will be reviewed and depending on the overseeing body, a specific rule set apply. Most seasoned breeders would have invested into the official documentation to familiarise themselves with the showing regulations. New breeders are encouraged to do so as well. Breeders will feel a sense of achievement for their cat after receiving their prizes as recognised champions.
