Understanding Cats at Heights III
They are able to exercise their agile bodies with combine flexibility through climbing and observing great leaps in a cat is just something that will occur naturally over time, if ever.
Keeping things stable at height is very important for a cat. Cats will try to make use of their claws to leverage and anchor themselves to great distance. If a cat usually likes to jump to elevated surfaces, objects placed high should be secured and a level of supervision should be maintained to make sure that our soft and cuddly friends do not suffer a nasty fall or accident.
Window ledges are perhaps one of the more common heights for a cat to explore and this is motivated through external stimulation. Curiosity and general happenings outside make for great occupation in the view of a cat and it is perfectly fine to allow them to enjoy a session of window gazing.
