MY SLEEPY CHILD
Since we found Cotton abandoned and alone in the woods on one of our country road hikes a couple of years ago, he has brought us great joy and laughter in his antics. Tonight, I found him sleeping in his cat tree.
He was all curled up and so cute just laying there! We bought him his tree right after we found him and brought him home, so he's grown up with it. It no longer looks too nice as he is a kitty and a bit destructive with it, but the best $50 we ever spent!
He can be such a sleepy slug!
He slowly began to wake up.......
And clean himself up a bit.........
Only to succumb to the unavoidable.....he just simply wasn't ready to move from his cozy tree!
You can almost hear him say, 'I'm not ready to get up yet, mom!'

Omy goddess, he is handsome!! Reminds me of the same markings of a cat my grandma had.. Her son found this bobcat baby on the side of the road and brought him home. His name was Bob LOL! and he stood as tall as I was at about 8 years old... super friendly cat... they have no tail, just a little stump... Happy playing Sir Cotton.
We've seen a bobcat once on our hikes. It was so cool! Cotton is a sweet kitty and I'm so glad we found him and he found us! :
