Happy SPUD Caturday!

June 1st is SPUD (Steem Power Up Day) and Saturday is Caturday so today's gonna be a great day. Crypticat is already out on the balcony, it's definitely her territory. It's a little too cool out there to sit right now but not for a cat. She literally ran out from the other room the moment I opened the door-It's this kind of enthusiasm Steem needs for SPUD2 So get up out of bed and do something!

Some people think cats are lazy because all they do is lay around. Well if you have a cat you know they are just conserving energy for when there is a need. Cats are quick to take advantage of a good opportunity.

Looking back at the past is only good to learn about your mistakes. Who wishes they would have bought into bitcoin when they first heard about it? Or Ethereum? I wish I researched this stuff a little earlier other than just scoffing it off as some sort of scam. It's understandable to be cautious about something, but curiosity is an even more important trait we share with cats.

I am always curious when a new idea, proposal or movement arises and love reading about it. SPUD seems like a great initiative to get more people to power up and use their Steem, it will take place hopefully once a month or more. I've already powered up 50 Steem today to show my support. I think my next post will be about hitting the big 10k! It's amazing how fast this has grown.

Another topic I won't shy away from is regarding HF21, Hard Fork 21 will be the next major change implemented on the Steem blockchain and it will affect every one of us. The changes proposed are all debatable and there are some I am for and against. This week I will share some of my thoughts regarding these changes after reading about them a little more.
