Bikerni Road Safety Awareness Campaign 2018 - Mayor Meet

Just few hours ago I posted about the Road safety awareness campaign conducted by the Mangalore Bikerni Chapter along with the Mangalore Traffic Cops.. You can read about it here..

What happened next was really amazing.. It wasn't planned for!!

Yes, we are able to meet the Mayor of Mangalore, Mr K. Bhaskar Moily!!

The girls stopped him on his way for a quick cup of tea and put forward in front of him all the issues that the motorists in the town have.. They not only spoke to him about bad roads but also about speed breakers not having markings, less amount of zebra crossing, get traffic signals working, etc..

The Mayor assured to look into the matter and gave a go ahead for the events for the entire month and has given his 100% support towards the initiative..

The girls were later questioned by TV9 channel and were asked about what the campaign was for.. The girls voiced out their opinion and suggestions and also requested the people to follow safety rules and pass the message forward and save a lot of lives.

We also met the Deputy Commissioner of Police to thank her for this initiative and support for this campaign..

At the end, we were also taken for a treat by the Traffic Police Department..

What do you guys feel?? Will the Mayor do any changes in this matter??
