The Critique || Prompt
I use to take critique for critic.
I actually thought they have the same meaning.
So, I use them interchangeably.
It would seem like "critique" is French for "critic".
But the difference is very clear.
Even critic has been misunderstood, it is used mostly to make them look bad. But the critic is not bad, he is just making analysis based on his opinion.
While a critique takes a detailed view at a work or makes it easier for his audience to see, he makes investigation into both the strength and weakness of the work done.
I have learnt more about a critique from writing this prompt today.
To me it is the same. From both one can learn. It is not that it is always negative. This is just one of those changes of the meaning of words.
It is always good to learn something. Thanks to you I did so too.
