Two weeks ago, I and my boyfriend went to the miraculous Blessed Virgin Mary of Simala Shrine in Sibonga, Cebu. The Blessed Virgin Mary of Simala Shrine is known for being miraculous and generous because she answers the prayers and petitions of the devotees.

It was our second time to visit Simala this year. We revisited Simala Shrine for the second time to offer thanksgiving and prayers.

We offered thanksgiving because of what had happened to my boyfriend. He met a motorcycle accident a week before we went to Simala. I was so nervous the moment he informed me that he was admitted to the hospital because of the said accident. I thought that his legs were broken or he got a serious injury just like one of my close friends who also had a motorcycle accident. I was supposed to travel to Camotes together with my co-teachers at that time, but I immediately decided not to go with them. So, I went to the hospital and I was thankful that he’s fine. Fortunately, he only got bruises and some minor injuries.

This is what happened to his motorcycle.

That's why we are thankful that he only got a minor injury from that accident.

After 3 days from his hospital confinement, we came to visit the Birhen of Simala to offer thanksgiving. We know that our Almighty God saved him from an unwanted serious accident.

It was exactly 6 PM when we arrived at Simala and we already heard the bell that indicates the closing of the shrine. But I still asked the security guard if he could let us in even just for a while. Good thing, he is kind enough to let us go inside.

We just lit a candle, offered thanksgiving and prayers, and took some photos before we left the shrine. Simala shrine is so peaceful at night. We felt so good when we were there and as we stepped out of the shrine.

From North to South para sulit. Heheheh.
