Old Headstones
Hello Steemians, I'm back with another cemetery post. Today I want to show you some interesting and very old headstones.
I said headstones but I'm not sure that's the appropriate expression. These stones are have a form of a coffin with a roof on them. As you can see the text is engraved in the stone. The text is about the life of the person buried and it mentions the year of 1700.
I've found three, these were gathered and displayed in a nice place next to the chapel. You don't see this type of headstones any more.
The photos were taken at the reformed christian cemetery of Marosvásárhely, Targu Mures.
